8/1/2026 “Focus Poke Us” photo shoot


One of the avenues that I have found great joy and exploring recently is photography. Well, I appreciate words as a tool of creation, they are powerful things indeed. And the photography portion of my gallery here on this page that says "the picture is worth 1000 words" I think sometimes even more so. There is some things that we just feel, that cannot be said. Sometimes it is easier for us to see these things, then hear these things. Not that it is always easy to see things. 





One of the things that it appears, to me, that we, has a society, are not willing to look at yet, his circumcision. The damage that it does to the innocent boys that are subjected to it, and how that pain manifest in their bodies for the rest of their life.

We have laws in place to protect our girls from being treated in such ways. But us, has a society we have refused to protect our innocent boys.  

We sent the message, to the boys that we sever, that they did not come into this world perfect. And they are not worth protecting. We send a message that the girl that did not get severed is perfect, and is worth protecting.


And we wonder. 
Why are men are so insensitive
We have been desensitized 
Why are men are so violent
Violence welcomed us to earth 
We wonder 
Why men won't speak 
No one stopped when we screamed 
Why men do not trust 
Our own mothers handed us over 
So a society could cut us

I hold that these are errors.
